Education and further education and hence the increase, conservation and transfer of knowledge are important tasks of university institutions. IAVT and ZµP are active in students education in the curriculum of Electrical Engineering. A multitude of lessons is offered with the objective to be geared to innovative develompents and trends and to impart theoretical basics on a high university level as well as practice oriented knowledge and ready-to-use skills to the students.

The Center of microtechnical Manufacturing uses the existing technological base and trains apprentices to "Microtechnologists".

Know-how and technology transfer as a direct transformation of research results is an important part of the work of IAVT and ZµP as well. For this purpose often the networks and cooperations both institutions are involved with are used.
