This year's IMAPS Europe Conference EMPC took place from September 10th to 13th in Warsaw. A Best Paper Award has been given to:

Maria Lykova, Iuliana Panchenko, Marion Geidel, Johanna Reif, Ulrich Künzelmann, Jürgen Wolf und Klaus-Dieter Lang for the paper and presentation Characterisation of Cu/Cu Bonding using self-assembled monolayer as oxidation inhibitor.
