Directions to IAVT/ZmP
Arriving by plane
From the airport Dresden-Klotzsche you can reach the university
- Using a taxi (see below),
- Using a rental car: at first drive downtown (Zentrum), then follow the signposts to Prague, route B170/E55 (see picture on the right),
- Using a city railway (S-Bahn) to the main station, and then going on by tram or taxi (see below).
Arriving by train
From main station the campus is reachable very easy by tram or bus:
- Tram stop main station (Hauptbahnhof),
- Tram route number 3, direction Dresden-Coschütz, 2nd tram stop called Nürnberger Platz, or
- Bus route number 66, direction Dresden-Mockritz, 3rd bus stop called Mommsenstraße
- finally a short walk (see picture in downloadable description).
Of course you can also use a taxi from main station to the campus.
Arrival by taxi
For Günther-Landgraf-Bau tell the driver the destination Mommsenstraße 15.
For Werner-Hartmann-Bau tell the driver the destination Nöthnitzer Straße 66.
Arrival by car
Highway A4 from Chemnitz/Leipzig:
- at junction Dresden-West change to A17, direction Prague
- use exit Dresden-Südvorstadt, drive downtown, then follow the signposts to University
Highway A4 from Bautzen or A13 from Berlin:
- use exit Dresden-Hellerau, drive downtown, then follow the signposts to Prague, route B170/E55 (see picture on next page)
- alternatively drive on to junction Dresden-West, change to A17, direction Prague, than same as above
