Networks

To be well networked is a basic prerequisite for a successful scientific work. IAVT and ZmP actively organize the networking with experts from all areas of science and industry.

Well linked to each other in Science and Industry

Successful research work isn't made in a "silent cubbyhole". Only with interdisciplinary work and a permanent thought exchange with national and international experts excellent results can be achieved.

IAVT and ZmP are integrated in different networks, partially initiated by themselves.

Examples for the cooperation in competence centers  are the "Werner-Hartmann-Center" for packaging technologies of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and "nanoeva", the joined competence center for high-resolution non-destructive testing together with Fraunhofer IKTS.

We reflect our own work in education and research also against recent demands of industry. An important contribution to that is given by the Advisory Board for Electronic Packaging.

The membership in different societies, e.g. Silicon Saxony e.V., Organic Electronics Saxony e.V. and others, is a requirement for an active networking, especially with industry. The 1994 by IAVT founded "Sächsische Arbeitskreis Elektronik-Technologie" has to be highlighted here.
