Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h.c. mult. Karlheinz Bock, current director of the IAVT, will assume a senior professorship at the IAVT effective October 1, 2025. In an informal, celebratory get-together on October 2, 2025, his work as professor and director of the IAVT over the past 11 years was honored. Prof. Bock symbolically passed the baton to his successor, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Juliana Panchenko, who will take over the leadership of the institute effective November 1, 2025.
